К сожелению не силен в Linux...
Вот что я делаю.
Для того, что бы установить все необходимые пакеты, согласно http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracInstall, добавляю необходимые репозитории (необходимые репозитории определял сам - боюсь это и есть тонкое место):

После этого trac-сервер запускается успешно и я могу через web-браузер зайти в проект.
При этом логов, вроде бы как бы и нет:
