We expect the successful candidate to demonstrate high motivation and ability to solve complex problems and achieve set goals. Project: As a Linux Python Developer, you will be working on development of the Cluster Configuration Manager, a unified framework for deployment, provisioning & monitoring of storages and distributed file systems. You will be also involved into implementation & enhancements of various CLI utilities. The solution is based on open source components. Requirements: - Python development (OOP); - Linux (packaging is a plus); - Knowledge of deployment and provisioning systems; - Good communication skills and English; - 3+ years’ production experience. Plus experience: - Jenkins; - Networking; - SaltStack; - OpenStack; - Familiar with Agile development methodology. Responsibilities: - Create new and support existent saltstack manifests for deployment purposes; - Follow, understand, and enhance the defined software development process; - Take technical responsibility for a feature or a whole subsystem; - Participation in scoping & release planning; - Tight cooperation with the customer.
