По-моему современные технологии уже давно усложняют, а не облегчают жизнь программистам. И часто программа на ассемблере будет короче и понятнее, чем на каком-нибудь последнем .NET.
Что вы скажете, посмотрев на такой код (из темы http://forum.vingrad.ru/forum/topic-361684/kw-xaml-wpf-listview-%D0%A8%D0%B0%D0%B1%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%BD%D1%8B.html )? Много ли понятно с первого взгляда?
А он производит совершенно элементарные действия.
