Код не работает (щели между дивами) только в недобраузєре. smile

, а можно узнать в чем была проблема, почему там щели?

Не знаю. Наверное, трюк с display: inline; действует только для соприкасающихся плавающих блоков. А у вас центральный был в обычном потоке.
