Project description
The goal of the project is development of a brand new risk calculation engine for a top-tier investment bank. The risk engine is a multi-tier distributed Java server-side application which analyzes the bank’s trading activity, computes risk measures and feeds downstream systems. It is designed to be very flexible and scalable and will support multiple business areas.

Position description
Team leader (10 developers) who will contribute deep technical expertise and be responsible for successful product delivery into production.

Main Responsibilities:
•    Converting business requirements into system design
•    Manage the priorities from senior stakeholders
•    Plan project SPRINTs, track progress of each iteration, and reporting its results
•    Own the technical architecture and review all the major technical decisions made within the project
•    Assist team in writing and debugging the major application parts
•    Handle communication and planning with peer teams who will integrate with this project
•    Represent project at high-level architecture and management meetings
•    Manage and motivate the existing team
•    Hire additional project members when required

Skills required:
•    Java Core knowledge (strong)
•    Collections (strong)
•    Multithreading (strong)
•    JMS (strong)
•    Spring Framework (intermediate or higher)
•    Unit testing and mocking frameworks (strong)

•    Oracle Coherence
•    Apache Camel
