VPF::Как настроить виртуальный сервер(PHP+MySQL+Apache)

Здрасти всем!
Ребят, я уже устал постить тут такие темы, помогите мне ламеру, чайнику и идиоту настроить сервер.
Сервер наподобии Денвера или AppServ`a, я хочу сделать связку Apache+mySQL+PHP, чтобы они взаимодействовали между собой, и я мог тестировать то, что я делаю в оффлайне, не выкидывая код на какой-то дорогостоящий хостинг или сервер в интернете. Хочу в оффлайне работать.

У меня есть учебник по PHP и MySQL написанный Энди Харрисом, изучая этот учебник я дошел до того момента, где Энди описывает работу с БД MySQL и созданием таблиц на MySQL, все что Энди писал про PHP я переписывал в php файлы и тестировал на Денвере, и все шло гладко, но теперь когда он пишет про БД я не могу повторять за ним, и на практике освоить то, что он пишет тоже не могу, у меня в Денвере не работает MySQL,
  когда я запускаю файл mysql.exe появляется черное окошко и там пробегают какие-то строчки, которые я не успеваю прочитать, я решил, что Денвер - это не то, что мне нужно и я хочу свой полноценный сервер, нормальный...
  Я скачивал с интернета такие файлы:
php-5.1.6-Win32
mysql-connector-odbc-3.51.12-win32
mysql-5.0.26-win32
php-4.4.4-Win32
apache_2.0.55-win32-x86-no_ssl
Я скачивал разную документацию для них, но все, что я бы ни делал приводило меня к нулевому результату.
Я готов скачать все, что вы посоветуете, и зделать все настройки, которые вы мне посоветуете я надеюсь.
Мне очень нужно изучить MySQL, но без практики это невозможно,  я взываю к вам, помогите мне пожалуйста, напишите подробно, апач какой версии нужно скачать, куда его поставить, также с mysql и php - какая версия, куда поставить, что прописать и в каких файлах прописать...
Заранее благодарен.
(разместил здесь, наверное потому, что мне надо настроить сервер...)

Есть дамп базы форума с сервера, сделанная с помощью утилиты mysqldump. Теперь нужно развернуть этот форум на локалке. Как это сделать, куда кидать файлы CMS (в Apache2/htdocs/ ?).

И еще какая засада - как я вычитал, развернуть базу из дампа возможно в кормандной строке самой мускл
mysql -uLOGIN -PPORT -hHOST -pPASS DBNAME < dump.txt
но окно MySQL у меня запускается на секунду и пропадает. Если ему нужны параметры запуска, то зачем тогда предусмотрен графический запуск command line из Пуск-Программы... ?

Попробовал команду востановления не от " -u root ", а "-u мой_логин_к_базе_на_хосте " - то же самое (конечно, конфиг у lдвижка PHP BB перед этим поправил)

По ответу на команду восстановления базы я так и не понял, восстановилась ли она?
Или предварительно нужно как-то ее с этим именем создать? Но как? Если в окне ком.строки в MySQL, то по "Пуск-Программы-MySQL-MySQL Server 5.6" оно открывается и сразу же сворачивается.

Поставь на домашнюю тачку какой-нибудь Линукс, подымай на нем что хочешь, и 99% проблем само пропадет...
