Very famous Western company opens a position of   Lead Technical Architect


The person will lead the technical architecture group. This involves project management and leading the technical design of the architectural platform, the development of new system interfaces, the re-design of current platforms and leading the technical architecture of new functional components.
Responsibilities:
-          Project management of architecture team
-          Lead the design and re-design of the underlying  projects architecture platforms.
-          Lead feed, messaging and document storage design 
-          Design new  modules to standardized development and deployment environments
-          Lead the development teams to ensure adherence to the agreed design patterns. Work closely with the  project managers and development team leaders to ensure deliverables.
-          Lead the architectural design and implementation for the new  platform
-          Review team code and ensure best practice principals are followed
-          Ensure technical documentation supports the client’s requirements.
-          Demonstrable team leadership and senior development experience required.
-          Must show similar leadership and successful deliver on similar caliber projects
-          Excellent communication skills – must have very good English
-          Willingness to travel extensively (London).


Skills / Knowledge Required:
 
-          5+ years Java/J2EE development and design experience of enterprise application software
-          2+ years architectural leadership – must be able to demonstrate specific project experience and delivery
-          Must show extensive examples of designing, developing, testing and documenting new applications
-          Good knowledge of standard web technologies such as XML, XSD, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
-          UML, Design Patterns, knowledge of standard software development best practices including OO design
-         Experience with Unix based OS , shell scripting
-          Strong knowledge of Web Services/SOAP,  Ant
-          JSF, Ajax, Struts
-          Application Servers, WebLogic BEA 8 and higher, Portal product experience 
-          Preferred experience with CRM other banking applications  
-          Oracle RDBMS , JDBC , SQL , PL/SQL   
-          Documentum is a advantage
