В общем проблема такая. Качнул тарбол новой винницы с unixware, пустил шелловый инсталлятор. Тот собрал бинарники, все в нормале, но как только приступил к созданию конфигов, пошли глюки. Все ему блин не нравится - пытался ставить и с поддержкой установленной винды (у меня раздел с виндой прикручен на /wind1) и без поддержки оной - один хрен. Вроде в первом случае все объяснимо - может ему прав не хватить от простого юзера (хотя вроде я предварительно su зарутился ), но что во втором завалился, когда я на инсталл-диру проставил права 777, меня ввело в ступор. Пишет - не может создать реестр wine потому что не найдены директории windows. Советует поредактировать config-файл. Поредактировал, черта-с-два там заработало. Кто-нибудь эту штуку пользовал (два дня назад на unixware.ru появилась)? Подскажите, чего еще сделать? Система RH 9.0

Я тут поразмыслил, че-то он по ходу с алиасами (более удачного термина не нашел) на диски пролетает. Как бы это устранить?

Ты знаешь, я что-то невижу, чтобы в конфиге было указание на папку с файлами для эмуляции винды. Я только заметил абстрактную c:\\windows. Наверное, в этом то и проблема. Я на днях найду доки и почитаю, как конфиг править грамотно. Просто, у меня в Wine опыта немного

Для начала проверь твою установку на корректность:
