QA and Test Manager 
Position Overview:
Moscow TMG IT TPM team is looking for a QA and Test Manager. 
TMG IT looks after the trade processing of derivative transactions.  The submission of these trades to the banks books and records and intra-day risk systems is a vital part of the overall process and is required to allow the traders to trade these products.  As a result the TPM system is listed as a critical app within the bank and as a result must be well tested. 
TPM is a a loosely coupled service orientated and workflow-centric integration middleware processing notifications on trade events from several OTC Drivatives markets and routing the information between internal and external systems. 

Role Description: 
The QA and Test Manager is responsible for the overall management of quality control and testing processes, execution and test environment management and support. He/She is accountable for assisting IT application team in achieving quality product by identifying defects and deficiencies early and providing MIS for continuously improving the development and testing process. The QA and Test Manager manages creation of test strategies, test plans, and test designs for the system/s being tested. The QA and Test Manager works with a virtual or physical team of quality engineers/analysts and participates in the identification, development, creation and improvement of the functional and technical testing processes, framework and infrastructure. 

Responsibilities:
QA and Test Manager: 
 - Manages a team of quality engineers/analysts who are tasked to identify, develop, create and improve technical testing process/frameworks.
 - Ensures the proper manual and automated test cases/scripts/test infrastructures are in place, testing is conducted based on the system development lifecycle, and the overall quality of testing deliverables 
 - Manages Quality testing Initiatives for complex projects (test planning and designs) 
 - Provides input to the project plan/release plan, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools and processes.
 - Manages both in-house and vendor testing teams by ensuring clear alignment with the domain based development teams. 
 - Monitors performance of testing activities and report on testing progress, defects, risks and issues.
 - Manages development of automated test tools/test frameworks. 
 - Create Program Testing Strategy, Methodology, Approach and all Test documentation - any changes in direction noted 
 - Identify areas of weakness to existing procedures, continually implement new procedures, and assess risk of impact from changes to projects 
 - Collaborate and coordinate test activities with vendor, IT, and business users across countries and time zone 
 - Align various different testing models across organisation and introduce consistent formalized testing best practices, moving from ‘detecting defects’ to ‘preventing defects’ 
 - Accountable for assisting IT application team in achieving quality product by identifying defects and deficiencies early and providing MIS for continuously improving the development and testing process. 
 - Front-to-back environment management and support for all test execution. 
 - Implementation of quality gates governance. 


Requirements: 
Experience/Background: 
•        8+ years experience in software development, testing and support

Skills Required: 

•        Good spoken and written English 
•        Domain knowledge and experience derivatives application systems implementation & testing covering cover all aspects of trade processing for derivatives. 
•        Strong experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies 
•        Test planning, designing, and test strategy/case/script creation and execution. 
•        Experience with integration & regressions testing and coordination with supporting systems. 
•        Experience with application development and multi-platform architectures 
•        Automated testing tools (Rational Robot, Silktest, WinRunner, HP Quality Centre, QuickTest Pro, etc) 
•        Knowledge of white/black box level testing, system and performance testing of applications using industry standard practices and tools 
•        Experience with defect and change tracking, producing performance metrics and providing MIS 
•        Automation test tools and test framework development proficiency. 
•        Experience in quality-related process implementation such as CMMi especially for testing best practices 
•        Experience in implementing Quality Gates model. 

Pluses: 

•        Knowledge of various architectures 
•        Knowledge of systems analysis, design and programming methodologies and tools 
•        5+ years testing in an Investment Banking environment, key is that person has significant testing experience of large parts of the trade processing / order management lifecycle in investment banking.   
•        A plus would be knowledge and experience on trade processing of derivative transactions.  The submission of these trades to the banks books and records and intra-day risk systems is a vital part of the overall process and is required to allow the traders to trade these products. The application used within DB is called TPM system and is listed as a critical app within the bank and as a result must be well tested.
