Our client is one of the world's leading providers of IT solutions and services to retail banks and the retail industry

I am looking for an experienced Android Developer to help us deliver an Android based Platform and a suite of Apps and Services for a new Device.

Responsibilities will include: Supporting the development and delivery of the Platform SDK and APIs; Development of Demo Apps for Promoting the Platform; Supporting any re-design & refactoring of existing application software;

Mandatory skills required:
•    Java (4+ Years)
•    Android Application Development (2+ Years)
•    Experience of Developing Sophisticated Apps including connectivity to 3rd party Cloud based services and the development of Services and Content Providers
•    Experience in Publishing Apps (to Android / Play Store)
•    Strong Understanding of Object Oriented Design & Component Based Development
•    Strong experience of Agile Development with Scrum 
•    Good Communications Skills

The skills below are desirable and would be an advantage…
•    Experience in Web Application Design (HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript)
•    Knowledge of Android Platform Level Development. Incl. NDK, DDK
•    Experience in Designing APIs
