Our client is looking for an exceptionally talented C++ developer to help develop an exciting and innovative product for application in the lighting control & media server industries. You will be developing low-latency graphical software with specific hardware interaction requirements and an emphasis on an efficient, responsive
user interface. The product you will be working on is a media server product which is used to control the video screens and lighting on market leading events in varied fields such as live music and sports ceremonies.

Skills and Requirements:

o 5 years C++ programming experience
o Thorough knowledge of MS Visual Studio and C++ for Windows and X Code for OSX
o Extensive previous experience working on robust real time / interactive graphics applications or games.
o Deep and thorough knowledge of OpenGL and GLSL.
o Ability to pick up and manage a complex c++ project quickly.
o Excellent communication skills.
o Ability to take direction and use initiative.
o Complete knowledge of the principles of camera and video editing applications.
o Capability to integrate, debug, modify & accurately report faults on 3rd party libraries.

You would ideally also have experience in as many of the following as possible THOUGH NOT ESSENTIAL:
o Building a GUI from the ground up in Open GL.
o Socket programming.
o Version control.
o Computer vision (openCV or similar).
o Excellent debugging skills
