EPAM E-Commerce Solution Practice invites an experienced Project Manager to try him/herself in the emerging role of a Delivery Manager, which requires a combination of PM, SA and RM skills. We have a number of huge accounts to drive and challenge your skills.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with at least 3+ years in IT project management;
- Excellent project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management;
- Solid knowledge of software development life cycle;
- Extensive experience in managing projects with at least 10-12 month duration, Fixed Price preferably;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Ability to manage the cross functional team consisting of developers, vendors, and business users;
- Experience with issue resolution across multiple locations and businesses;
- Demonstrated skill in client relationship management and ability to manage, direct and command respect from technical and delivery team members;
- Ability to engage with the client in technology discussions;
- Solid experience in implementing enterprise wide, custom applications with global teams;
- Experience in managing implementation challenges in the area of integration, design, configurability, and infrastructure;
- Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time;
- Advanced both spoken and written English.

Plus experience:

- PMP certification;
- Understanding of Commerce domain – terminology, business flows, typical problems;
- Working knowledge of Oracle Commerce, SAP Hybris or any comparable commerce platform such as IBM Commerce/Ebay Magento;
- Understanding of environment landscapes, sizing calculation, deployment mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

- Account or program or project level:
- Manage the implementation and configuration of various systems and solutions;
- Take responsibility over end to end delivery on the accounts;
- Manage customer expectations and relationship;
- Builds up delivery plan along with estimations on timeframes, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects;
- Manage cross-functional project teams across multiply geographies, solution practices and business domains;
- Act as a single point of responsibility over any delivery related matters, including escalations, upsells, rampdowns, etc.;
- Make sure that the customer executes their responsibilities on the engagements;
- Prepare engagement revenue and resource forecasts, engagement timesheets and billing information.
- Organizational level:
- Setup and maintain technology skills within the group;
- Track repeatable best delivery practices usage, share practices with other projects;
- Advocate delivery technology excellence;
- Contribute to Delivery excellence practices within ESP;
- Help mentoring and coaching other delivery managers.
