Currently we are looking for a Perl Test Automation Engineer for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.

EPAM, a global leader in software product development with 13 200+ passionate Engineers, Designers and Consultants, is looking for a Test Automation Engineer with strong Perl scripting skills and experience working with Unix-based Operation Systems to join our QA Automation Team.

Working on our project, you will have a chance to learn extensively popular technologies from Big Data world like RAID, Declustered RAID, Network Attached Storage (NAS), ATA, SCSI, SAS, FibreChannel, Infiniband, and many others.

About the customer:

Our customer is the world’s largest privately held data storage company. They provide best-of-breed high-performance storage solutions for end-to-end data management from data creation to persistent storage, active archives and the cloud. Their solutions are available worldwide from such global solution partners as IBM, HP, Dell, Sony, and SAS.

Responsibilities:

- Test automation framework based on Perl developing: API framework code enhancement/extending, code coverage by unit tests;
- Existing automation scripts maintenance and update according to changes in the product;
- Test environment preparation for testing: clusters and nodes configuring, network/hardware problems resolving;
- Test Results analysis after tests run in Continuous Integration;
- Active collaboration with the testing team working on customer side.

Requirements:

- 2+ years’ production experience;
- 1+ year experience in Perl scripting;
- Linux basics;
- At least Intermediate English level.

Nice to have:

- Advanced Perl level (Senior Perl Engineer);
- Advanced Linux level;
- Experience in Networking;
- Experience in work with Jenkins;
- Good communication skills;
- Understanding of test theory and artifacts.
