Currently EPAM is looking for a BI Developer/Professional Services Consultant for our Gomel office to make the team even stronger.

With us, you will get an opportunity to develop a SaaS solution for an American customer. The solution is the Customer Experience Management system, which allows to collect, categorize and report on structured and unstructured data.

About the customer

Our client is an US-based software company, which offers SaaS and “on-premises” solutions utilizing natural language processing and text analytics to provide different kinds of data to improve their clients’ customer experience.

Responsibilities:

- Full responsibility for technical implementation;
- Advice on and recommend optimal solutions based on different factors (cost, timeline, complexity, maintainability, etc.);
- Solution architecture;
- Business analysis;
- Full life-cycle of BI development: ETL, DWH, BI (on MicroStrategy), including POCs and pilots for upsale;
- Providing trainings, workshops for end users to help with MSTR and solution adoption;
- Information architecture advisory;
- Solution support.

Requirements:

- Communicative and pro-active person;
- Team player;
- The person should be a bridge between business users and technical implementation;
- Good English is a must;
- Databases experience:
- Postgres, Oracle;
- General SQL, DDL and DML experience;
- Experience in writing stored procedures would be a plus.
- ETL:
- Pentaho Data Integration;
- Experience in ETL fault tolerance: guards, counters, alerts, etc.;
- Experience with ETLs on unstructured data would be a plus (emails, plain text, chats, social media), fuzzy logic, text patterns recognition;
- Experience working with different APIs would be a plus.
- DWH:
- General experience with DWH modeling;
- Basic DWH optimization techniques.
- Reporting:
- Knowledge of Microstrategy or any other enterprise reporting platform (Cognos, BOBJ, etc.).
