Плохо на него PHP садится.
Мне второй апач через неделю надоел, точнее надоело с ним возиться.

У меня есть вопрос вот у меня стоит апач 2 не знаю в нём ли вся беда вот такое дело есть скрипті которіе авторизируются средствами апача т.е на єкране появляется форма пишет ввидите логин и пароль проверяет введённые данные с помощью пхп как я понял а потом если всё ок авторизирует если нет ошибка 404 так вот у меня дома этот способ авторизации не работает ввожу правильный логин и пароль а результат всегда один и тот же ошибка 404, как настроить этот метод авторизации если надо могу добавить в тему саму начинку файлов конфигурации апача и пхн пхп у меня 4.3.9

Нет как настроить файл .htaccess и .htpasswd я знаю у меня сервер не хочет авторизировать пользователя таким методом авторизации, я же писал ввожу правильный логин и пароль, а результат всегда один и тот же ошибка 404. Вот передо мной встала проблема поставить два php (4 и 5) на сервер. Стало в лом лезть на форум, хотя я знал, что тут есть такая статья. Решил манул почитать к серверу (Apache 2), по любому будет полезно.

Вычитал я, однако, что директиву Action можно в VirtualHos всовывать. Думаю, это, наверное, полезно...

Почитал дальше... Много всякого интересного начитался, но не об этом речь...

Оговорюсь сразу, сервер у меня домашний - для тестов, так сказать.
Короче берем httpd.conf. Вписываем где-нитиь до VirtualHost такие строки:

Ну, чтобы удобнее было.
Потом в каждом VirtualHost, который собирается использовать php прописываем нужную версию. Для php 4:

Для тех, кому не надо php ничего не пишем.

Дальше. Убираем из системных папок (из windows, из system32 и прочих) все php.ini. Переносим их в папки с сообвыетствующими версиями php. Не знаю как это будет на *nix'ах... А в Окошках ini ищутся сначала в системных папках, а уже потом в папке с екзешником.

Ну, вроде все.

Что хорошо
Нет двух серверов. Не нужно так заморачиваться. В любой момент очень просто можно сменить версию php для любого хоста.

Что плохо
php не модуль и потому отсутствуют некоторые полезные возможности.


Будут вопросы - смело задавайте. Писал в розвалку, не имея цели написать статью - Просто поделился опытом - потому мог что-то упустить.

Вобщем, у меня тоже трабл. Поставил сначала Apache 1.3 (на Windows). Корректно работает, слушает свой порт и т.д.
Потом ставлю PHP4. Прописываю в http.conf все положенные вещи. Старую сервис Apache - бац!
"Невозможно запустить сервис. Сервис не вернул никакой ошибки" (или что-то в этом роде - это вольный перевод..).
Методом научного тыка докопался до того, что сервис стартует только если запускается под учетной записью юзера (с админскими правами, но на "простых" юзерах не проверял), а под системной записью ("Local System") - ни в какую. А при заккомментированных строках о PHP в httpd.conf - Apache нормально запускается и так и так.
Такое ощущение, что системной записи просто нет права доступа к папке, где лежит PHP, но в то же время, у этой папки для всех разрешен полный доступ.
Подскажите, что делать?

Мужики, я ЧАЙНИК в веб програмировании! В данный момент, плотно занимаюсь программированием на Delphi (это так к слову, чтоб было понятно, что в розетку комп я включать умею ). Хочу заняться PHP программированием. Кто нить может мне на пальцах объяснить как поставить сервак Apache и установить PHP? Что скачивать, и ваще че за сложности? Вот Делфи например, купил компакт, пришел воткнул в сидюк, запустил setup и вперед программируй сбе. А тут жуть какая то. Читал топик о том как установить PHP (http://forum.vingrad.ru/index.php?showtopic=26782) первый же вопрос возник в первых же строках:

Какие дистрибутивы? Какие бинарники? Там черт ногу сломит? Возможно ли указать конкретные файлы по конкретному адресу, которые нужно скачать?

А JavaScript Server легче ставится, это ведь с той оперы да? А каким лучше языком воспользоваться JavaScript Server или PHP?

Вобщем-то вся статья хорошая. Спасибо авторам постарались на славу.
Правда есть несколько непонятных моментов:
1. Я скачал все файлы по ссылкам указанным в статье. Оказалось что можно установить на компьютер только одного индейца. при попытки установки второго было предложенно переустановить или снести. Данную проблемму попробовал решить тупым копированнием файлов.
Все скопировалось но работать не стало. Компьютер стал ругаться на то что какие-то дллки по указанному пути отсутствуют. поэтому у меня на компе работает только PHP 5. Ну не беда пока хватает.
2. Недавно стал пробовать закачивать файлы на сервер. Вроде все проходит нормально. Нет никаких сообщений об ошибках. только фаилы в указанную дирректорию не закачиваются. Где то прочитал про какие-то права 0666 и 0777 (прошу прощения за возможную неточность). Как я понял что если нет этих прав то данная операция недоступна.Хотелось бы почитать об том как именно настроить эти права (желательно на русском).

З.Ы. Я просмотрел топики по настройке ПХП и передаче фаылов. Там везде идет ссылка на эту статью.

У меня ваще то сомнения есть что в винде есть понятие прав... Это чисто юниксовое понятие... Хотя может в винде енто как нить и эмулируется... а вообще, все эти цифорки означают следующее.... Если представить их в бинарном коде то получим примерно следующее 0777~000 111 111 111. 0666~ 000 110 110 110... А рассматривать это надо так... Во-первых 4 категории (0777 за каждую категорию отвечает одна цифра в восьмеричном представлении)... Эти категории по порядку: 1) sticky бит... Это нужно для смены идентификатора владельца...... 2) user access - права доступа владельца... 3) Права доступа группы-владельца 4) права доступа всех других пользователей... Теперь про эти категории каждая категория - одно восьмерично число... Представляем его в двоичной системе и почличае например 111... Первый бит отвечает за чтение... т.е. могут ли пользователи из данной категории читать этот файл, второй за запись, третий за исполнение... Соответсвено 1-дает право на операцию, 0 не дает...Вроде все.... Вроде даже правильно... Если в чем ошибся, то поправьте...

Поставил ZendOptimizer под Linux
Все нормально, без ошибок, апача перерестартилась.
проверил в php.ini прописалась. по путям файлы лежат.
Одна проблема, нихрена не работает.
Zend Optimizer not installed Вылетает!

Помогите, никак не пойму, что я не так делаю:
1. Скачал Апач 1.3.х, и установил в c:\www\Apache\ApachePHP5
2. Скачал zip файл с PHP 5.1.1
3. Закинул все файлы из архива PHP в папку c:\www\PHP\PHP5
4. Перекинул необходимые файлы их php в папку с апачем (т.е. получается c:\www\Apache\ApachePHP5\Apache)
5. Прописал необходимые изменения в файле httpd.conf
6. Создал каталог c:\www\Apache\ApacheConf
7. Создал в блокноте новый файл, скопировал туда всё, что предназначается для vHosts, и сохранил его как vHosts.conf (в вышеуказанной папке).
8. В файле hosts прописал 127.0.0.1 somehost1.tld
9. Создал каталог c:\www\Home\tld\somehost1
10. Закинул во него файл index.php
11. Пишу в браузере - somehost1.tld/index.php - а в ответ мне ошибка 404 типа файл не найден.
12. Пишу somehost1 - выскакивает страница апача.

Что не так, и где я туплю?

Забыл сказать, что ещё перезапускал апача путём c:\www\Apache\ApachePHP5\apache.exe -i -n "Apache PHP5" -D PHP5

Скачал PHP 5.0.4 в архиве. Собственно у меня он уже был, но какая-то убогая версия - юез расширений без нифига... А тут аж три экзешника (кстати почему?) куча dll и полно библиотек рсширения... И тут АБЛОМ! В нём (в архиве) сложены аккуратненько все файлы, библиотеки, а файла instal.exe нет. Мне что предлагается всё ручками делать? Если да, то подскажите чё куда кидать нада... А вкуснее былобы конечно ссылочку на готовенький инстал, но это конечно в мечтах

какую из них мне кидать в C:\WINDOWS\system32\

Целая толпа .exe: php.exe, php-cgi.exe, php-win.exe - чем они отличаются и главное какую прописывать а Apache?!

Уважаемые коллеги! Подскажите пожалуйста, в чем может быть проблема. Установил себе apache и php4 по статье (спасибо авторам!), проверил ссылку типа http://host1.tld/index.php - все отлично работает! Затем установил mysql, настроил его, проверил коннект через коммандную строку - коннект есть. Попробовал через php подсоединиться к удаленной БД - все работает. Но когда я в вышеупомянутом скрипте index.php попробовал соединиться к БД, находящейся на моем компьютере, то ничего не вышло!

В итоге - через MySqlСС и командную строку коннект есть, а через скрипт на вирт. хосте коннекта к localhost нет. Может кто сталкивался в такой проблемой?

mysql -h localhost -u root -p

Если кратко, то исправить можно так:
Нах одишь в директории с установленной базой данных файл my.ini (my-small.ini или аналогичное название, в любом случае переименовываешь его в my.ini) дописываешь в самый конец этого файла "old-passwords" без кавычек, кидаешь этот файл в корень диска С:, перезагружаешь базу данных, через консоль вводишь такие запросы:Дальше, я думаю, разберёшься сам.

В пятой есть служебное слово const, отсутствующее в 4ой версии. Метод define() и все? Нет других соображений? 

В объектах четвёрки констант нет. 

Я это понимаю, спрашиваю как быть? Делать переменные? 

Всем привет! 
Я тут новенький)  
И вот чё пришел, я вроде как занимаюсь web-программированием,
но до сих пор всё делал на html там потихоньку осваивал javascript и тому подомную ерунду)  
Недавно нашел учебник по php  и понял что это гораздо лучше и проще для моего ума чем html решил им заняться и столкнулся с кое какими проблемами   
Я попытался у становить себе все необходимое программное обеспечение.
поставил apache2.11 потому что другого не было на официалке(кстати на ваших ссылках тока это апаче и php5, php4 нету и апаче 1,3 тоже нету =(((((   )
И с толкнулся с проблемой поставки php так как я в папке с php не нашёл не одного dll файла( 
Подскажите что делать!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!            



P.S. Предупреждаю я хоть чё то тут и умею в программирование,   но не все изъяснения понимаю поэтому просьба попроще говорите))))

ООООй народ извиняюсь я в версии апачи цифирку пропустил версия не 2,11 а 2,2,11

Народ спасибо за ссылку и за совет! хоть я и не знаю что такое денвир, но я нашел все доисторические версии. все вроде работает, но глюк на глюке)
статью прочёл и нечего так и не вычитал, а вот статья которую была предоставлена ранее на форуме подошла кстати  manlix.ru 
тут были ссылки на древние версии php mysql apachi и т.п. я все поставил все работало нормальна кроме perl выдаёт ошибку 500  почему не знаю написано по английски (я его не знаю) !!!
Ну он мне и ненужен чёрт с ним 
Главное php работает 
но тут же я столкнулся новой проблемой:
мне мой друг дал исходник форума что бы я его типа провел, ну я его запускаю первая страница нормальная там всякая установка ))
но когда он переходит в другую папку типа http://localhost/admin/index.php
выдаёт всё туже ошибку 500 
и то же самое с другими страница которые находиться в других каталогах((((
почему так??? 
ЧТО МНЕ ДЕЛАТЬ??
ЭТО ЕСТЬ ТЕ ЛАГИ ИЗЗА КОТОРЫХ apache 2.x.xx ФУФЛО????????

понимаешь, здесь такая заморочка, что ты поставил неизвестный скрипт, неизвестные версии (сборку?) пхп+апач+мускл, неизвестным способом, а теперь у тебя там что-то не срослось и ты хочешь помощи
